The Division of Social Affairs, Environment and Sustainable Development is a unit under the National Institute for Economics and Finance, responsible for assisting the Institute’s President in conducting research on issues related to society, environment and sustainable development in connection to socio-economic development strategies, plans and master plans (nationwide, regional, territorial levels); conducting scientific research in the fields of society, environment and sustainable development.

Pham Manh Thuy Position: Head of the Division of Social Affairs, Environment and Sustainable Development Academic Title/Degree: Master’s Degree Responsibilities: - Provides leadership and overall direction for all activities of the Division in accordance with its assigned functions and duties; - Lays out research orientations and advising the Institute leaderships on issues related to social, environmental, and sustainable development affairs aligning with the Institute’s functions and tasks; - Directs, organizes, assigns, guides, trains, supervises, and evaluates staff to ensure timely completion and high-quality performance of assigned tasks. |

Doan Thanh Tung Position: Deputy Head of the Division of Social Affairs, Environment and Sustainable Development Academic Title/Degree: Master’s Degree Responsibilities: - Responsible for research in the field of social affairs; - Assists the Head of Division in formulating monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans; - Organizes, assigns, directs, guides, trains, and supervises staff in carrying out tasks within the scope of assigned responsibilities. |

Nhu Le Thu Huong Position: Deputy Head of the Division of Social Affairs, Environment and Sustainable Development Academic Title/Degree: Master’s Degree - Responsible for research in the fields of environment and sustainable development; -Assists the Head of Division in developing monthly, quarterly, and annual programs and work plans; - Organizes, assigns, directs, guides, trains, and supervises staff in carrying out tasks within her assigned areas of responsibility. |
